I've been heavily involved in media since 1997, firstly as a journalist and then as a professional photographer.
University educated with a BA Degree (Distinction) and Diploma (First Class), I studied photography at the Metropolitan, now the City of Glasgow College. I also lectured at Higher National level.
My work regularly features in the national press, magazines and private, commercial and charitable publications online and in print.
I've also spent years climbing Scotland’s mountains, hiking the length of its glens, walking round icy lochs, fording swollen rivers and discovering some interesting places along the way.
Constant companions are my cameras. We've been banged, battered and bruised but nevertheless keep snapping away to capture the shots featured on this site.
